Here is a sample of a typical DeMatha basketball pre-season strength workout (from 2010). It is focused on upper body and core... but certainly addresses the entire body (including barefoot work at the beginning for the ankles and fee). In the month of September, our players strength train twice a week, do agility/conditioning once a week, and do their basketball skill work (and play organized pick-up) three times per week.
